NEWS
Facebook Tests "Engagement Alerts" for Groups

Facebook Groups are all the rage right now. That's where most of the organic engagement is happening on the platform. And the company is clearly investing heavily in Groups.

According to SocialMediaToday, Facebook is testing out a new option that enables group admins to set up specific alerts for posts that are getting increased engagement within their communities.

This is a great way for group admins to get a quick idea of which posts or comments are trending so they can jump in.

Right now, the feature is in test mode with some admins seeing it while others are not. But hopefully, this will be rolled out to all groups soon. As a group admin, I see lots of value in this feature.

TOOLS
Do More Than Automate Your Email

The challenge with finding a great email marketing tool is that it needs to be easy-to-use, yet powerful enough to do exactly what you need it to do.

That's where ActiveCampaign comes in. They have combined the simplicity of a drag-and-drop email automation builder with some pretty advanced features.

And they offer amazing one-on-one support and solid deliverability. What more could you ask for in an email marketing platform?

That's what I use at GrowthMarketer to send this newsletter. So, if you're looking for a new email platform, or wanting to switch from your current provider, check them out. 100k customers can't be wrong.

Why Marketing Flywheels Work

You've probably heard of marketing funnels, but have you heard of marketing flywheels?

The legendary Rand Fishkin—Founder of Moz—shares exactly what they are and how they changed his business in a new post on the SparkToro blog.

And building your own marketing flywheel doesn't have to be complicated.

As Rand states in the article, "You DO NOT have to build a marketing flywheel by combining sixteen channels and dozens of tactics along with a sophisticated paid ad strategy. Start small. Start with one tactic."
