Here's What Facebook's New AR Glasses Look Like

 
 

After years of teasing that they're working on an eyewear product, Facebook finally has a prototype to share.

The glasses are designed in partnership with EssilorLuxottica, the maker of Ray-Ban sunglasses, and the research program behind the technology is called Project Aria.

Right now, everything is "for research purposes only" and will be tested in-house by a limited group of Facebook employees and contractors.

Inside TikTok's Killer Algorithm

 
 

TikTok recently revealed some of the elusive workings of the prized algorithm that keeps hundreds of millions of users worldwide hooked on the viral video app.

Here's the short version, according to Axios: TikTok's algorithm uses machine learning to determine what content a user is most likely to engage with and serve them more of it, by finding videos that are similar or that are liked by people with similar user preferences.
