NEWS Taboola and Outbrain Call Off Their $850M Merger
|

|
According to TechCrunch, a proposed merger between two popular ad-based content recommendation platforms has been called off.
The deal between Taboola and Outbrain would have valued the combined company at more than $2 billion.
The TechCrunch article states that someone close to the merger said, "We’ve seen changing conditions in the market due to COVID-19, and we decided to terminate the deal."
